The Demo Tapes: Year One collects twenty-five short stories about Trevor Wolff and Mitchell Voss, the two founding members of the fictional band ShapeShifter. Starting with the day the two meet and following their adventures as the band gains momentum, The Demo Tapes: Year One takes you on a ride not merely through rock and roll, but through the lives of two very memorable characters.
Demo Tapes author Susan Helene Gottfried has been writing since she was six years old. Her love of music started about the same time, making a combination of the two things as natural as breathing. She's got two degrees in creative writing and has worked in radio, at record stores (remember those?), on stage crews, and in promotions, all in the name of rock and roll.
