Mama and Papa

It took us almost eight hours to drive down to San Diego, including one stop for dinner. And on the way back? Another seven hours.

That's almost 15 hours on the road, with 3 boys in the back. Thank goodness for mobile entertainment... it certainly could've gotten ugly.

But it didn't. :) And it was SO worth the trip. Since we were spending the Thanksgiving holiday at my parent's house, I didn't want her to stress out over dinner.

"We'll go out!" I assured her. I already knew she'd be getting the house ready and stocking up on all of our favorite foods. And after stuffing ourselves silly, we headed over to Balboa Park, just enjoying both the scenery and the company. Papa even hung out with us instead of stealing a mid-afternoon nap. :)
