When we become parents, we've basically given up the right to a full night's sleep or a quiet moment on the shitter. Seriously.
And we've especially given up the right to having a meal in peace.
My youngest? He likes noodles. Loves them, in fact.
So for breakfast this morning, I fixed a bowl of that infamous Top Ramen for him and Daredevil to share, and they gobbled it up.
I had too much work going on, and ended up putting off breakfast for a bit. Then I'd decided on Cup O' Noodles since it'd be quick and easy.
While I was letting it cool off, I went back to the office to check on the reports I had been printing out. Came back to the kitchen to find a little monster at the table, slurpin' down my noodles.
"Bandit! You little snot - that's Mommy's breakfast. You already had your breakfast!"
But the Cheeky Bandit is just a fit of giggles. He thinks he's so cute, the 3 year old lil' shit. I got my face in his, but before I could say anything else...
He kissed me.
The breakfast thief kissed me, again and again, with giggles and noodle bits in between each "mwah."
lol - I laughed out loud and gave in. Forget having a quiet meal to yourself. This was much more fun, hands (and noodles) down. ;)
