Denver Relocation Tidbits

Anybody familiar with the Mile High City?

Well - I'm looking for some advice.

Turns out Hubz got a job offer today, to run an airport hotel in Denver, CO. But guess what?

I know all of zilch about that area.

So... I'd like to get some tips from y'all. Besides the basic stuff, like education, crime rate, cost of living, weather... I'm looking to find out:

What's the best school district
Where's the best neighborhood to move into
What % is the Asian population there
Better yet, what's the % of inter-racial families?

Hubz is Caucasian. I'm Filipino. Our eldest (14) is from my first marriage - he's full Filipino. Our younger two (7 & 3) are Mestizo, mixed. We've lived most of our life together in San Diego, where diversity was never an issue.

I can look all I want at stats online, but it's just not the same. In San Diego, I knew what parts of the county I wanted to live in, and where I didn't. But I don't know jack about Denver.

I mean, is it really... "The perfect blend of outdoor adventure and urban sophistication?"

So... lay it on me. What's your 2 cents?
